Posadas

We cooperate with many partners who operate the Posadas. Because of the diversity, it is not possible to list all names here, and with photos. At a request from you, we provide a detailed description and the corresponding names of the Posada.

Posadas

In Los Roques are only Posadas. The construction of buildings with more than 2 levels is prohibited. There are Posadas of various price ranges, no not important if you are looking for something economy or for a very private Posada. The Posadas offer breakfast, half board or all inclusive. Boat tours are normally included with All Inclusive.

Flights

There are daily flights morning and afternoon from Caracas to Los Roques and back. Die Flugdauer beträgt ca. 35 Minuten. A bag of 10 kg is allowed, each additional kg will cost about 1 US$.

Location

Los Roques is a coral archipelago, which is a part of Venezuela in the Atlantic Ocean ubicated. There is a family atmosphere at the island, the only entry in the paradise is a small airstrip. The main island is Gran Roque, there are all Posadas, the only exception is the Rasqui Island Chalet (click here ).

Sports

Los Roques is perfect for diving, snorkeling and all other water sports,for fishing it`sone of the best places in the caribbean.

Hotels

At the Margarita Island, there are hotels of various price ranges; the most famous tourist destination is Playa El Agua. The beach here is the longest at the island and the beautiful beaches Parquito and Guacuco are not far away. Other hotels are in Juan Griego, Playa El Yaque and Pampatar located. Almost all of these hotels are working with the All Inclusive Principe. The wind surfer’s paradise Playa El Yaque is the exception.

Nightlife

Besides a few beach bars there are the Disco Woodys in Playa El Agua, it`s well-visited by tourists. If one looks a little more contact with land and people it is well advised in Porlamar. Recommend is here the Disco Mosquito / Kamy Beach and Senor Frogs, here are parties until the wee hours.

Attractions

Interesting is the Playa Guacuco, continue the sunset in Juan Griego On the barren peninsula Macanao one can see the strong contrast to Margarita, the best way to explore the peninsula is with a Jeep Safari. The sister islands of Margarita, Coche Island and Cubagua Island are wonderfully for relaxing and snorkeling. Los Frailes is a diver's paradise and it’s of the other side of the sea at the Playa el Agua beach. Recommend is a half-day trip with a taxi to the Sambil in Porlamar there are a huge shopping areas with all sorts of interesting articles invites you to buy. The old town of Pampatar is also a good direction.

With a rental car one can be explore very well the island.

Flights

Every day all Venezuelan airlines are flying in the morning and in the evening from Caracas to Porlamar and back, the flight takes about 45 minutes. Condor flies from Germany with a stopover in the Caribbean to Margarita, also other international airlines are flying to Margarita.

Basically, all your emails, phone calls, etc. are treated as requests from us unless you tell us definitely something different. Otherwise, all requests are not binding. There are no lowercase at our point of imposing on you a booking.

Support

In advance of the trip, we are always available by email for you. With the travel documents you will receive our emergency number at which we are 24 hours available. We can arrange for your vacation. It will still be carried out by you. In the various destinations they ae speaking mostly Spanish and English. Gladly you can book through us a guide for the entire stay to () extra on request

Luggage & airport taxes

For international flights, you get the information from the respective airline.In Venezuela, there are various routes for the various indications.

Caracas – Los Roques 10 kg baggage allowance per person Price: approximately U.S. $ 1 per kg

Other domestic 15 kg baggage allowance per person Price: approximately U.S. $ 2 per kg

Per domestic flight, a fee of about 25 Bolivares per person is due

When leaving a fee of approximately $ 55 per person is due.

These amounts must always be paid at the airport and are not includiert in the fare.

Visa requirements

As a document, you still need a passport valid for at least 3 months must have. Upon entry into Venezuela, please contact the duty holiday visa for 3 months in the form of a green appearance. This is on leave again on exit.
